I know, I know. You're probably growing tired of me blogging about things from Anthropologie that I am totally coveting, but can't afford. Alas, here's another item to add to the list: the dotted darling suit. Here's hoping it goes on sale at some point...although, seeing as we're smack dab in the middle of the Dog Days of summer I don't see that happening anytime soon. Damn!

Leave it to Anthropologie to make me wish I were a whiz in the kitchen. Alas, me and the kitchen do not get along...save for the fact that it's where my coffee pot resides. Wait, do you need to wear an apron while brewing coffee? I think the answer might be yes!

Read It and Weep

My friend Sarah came over last night and showed me her latest list of covetable items from Anthropologie - most of us have one of these lists, right? At any rate, one of the items she pulled up was this stacked paperback wallpaper, which is totally drool worthy. Unfortunately, it's $198 per roll, with each roll covering 18 square feet. I suggested she satiate her need for fake books by downloading one of these free downloadable book covers by Kate Spade (which I blogged about back in November).

My New 'Do

Today, despite feeling a bit under the weather, I went to get my hair did...because, when you have a hair appointment you can't just go flaking on it. I mean, the sanity of a lady depends on it. Marci did a fabulous job, as always (thanks, lady!). And, of course, after you get your hair did, you have to go out and show the world, right? So, off to Roseville I went with my ladies. We hit up Anthropologie, where I spotted this gorgeous hunk of leather.

I'm telling you, the Backlit Bag was really was a thing of beauty, but the price tag was a little too steep for me. Off to F21 and Urban we went, where I scored lots of good finds (for instance, these) for more reasonable prices. At any rate, now I'm beat and I'm going to eat some food and hit the sack. Hope everyone had a wonderful day!

Light As A Feather

This past weekend, I visited some friends in the East Bay (as I so often do) and we decided to do some shopping at 4th Street in Berkeley (as we so often do). That's where I spotted, and subsequently started coveting, the On-A-Wing Blouse by Byron Lars Beauty Mark. The blouse is delicate and feminine with a cowl neck, embroidered feather detailing and side button closure. It's available at Anthropologie...but at $148 it's a bit too spendy for my tastes. Still, I can appreciate its beauty.

Rug Envy

I've been on the hunt for the perfect rug for my living room for some time. I even posed the question to Apartment Therapy readers - and got some fabulous feedback. Then, I was perusing the Anthropologie site when I stumbled upon this beauty. At $398 for a 5x7, the Coqo Floral Rug is a little more than I'd like to spend, but it's picture perfect. I have a friend who works at Anthro - maybe she'll hook me up with a discount. Hey, Nicole. Wink. Wink.

You Spin Me Round, Right Round

My friend sent me a link to this lust-worthy Barky Turntable available at Anthropologie. Fashioned from ashwood and glass with a Premotech motor and Rega tonearm - it'll set you back a pretty penny - $1,298, gulp. There aren't any product reviews on the Anthro site - curious how it sounds. Anyone?

Lacemaker Skirt

I spotted this Lacemaker skirt by Odille yesterday while doing some holiday shopping at Anthropologie and let me tell you, it is even more delectable in real life than it is on the internet. Too bad it's so pricey.
