On the Road
Designer Carol Gilbert, of yorktown road, lets the fabric dictate the form when she's creating her collection of totes, clutches, pillows and scarves - meaning each item is unique. Gilbert works primarily with linen and wool, hand dying her fabrics in small batches to obtain intense coloring. Wow, I clicked over to her site and was blown away by her use of texture. Wish I could have one of everything!
