Tea Time

{tea lover mini screenprint card set by MrPS}
The fall-like weather we've had of late has me all inspired to curl up on the couch with a cup of hot tea and a chick flick. Additionally, the slight chill in the air has always motivated me to catch up on my correspondence. So, what better way to combine the two activities than to shoot off some snail mail to my friends on these adorable screen-printed tea lover mini cards by UK-based designer Megan Price (aka Etsy seller MrPS). The sets include four cards printed on heavy card stock. Price also makes some super cute shopper tote bags, tea towels and prints - and I love it all!

Today IS Awesome!

Let's start the week off with a positive message, shall we? Sarah Neuburger (of The Small Object) has created this bright, cheery print with a positive message. If you're in a bad mood, stare at this Today is Awesome print for 5 minutes while listening to melodic pop sounds of Belle & Sebastian - I'm pretty sure that combo will snap you out of almost any funk.

Oh, and be sure to check out Neuburger's Etsy shop, which features some other adorable items. My shop favs include the Miniature Mighty Mustache Magnet, the MakeAList To Do Stamp and the I Like To Draw Pencil Pack (which is currently sold out - sad panda.)

Go Ahead, Take it Personal

{Images from JHill Design}

My brother and sister-in-law's wedding anniversary is right around the corner and I've been trying to decide what to gift to the love birds. They got hitched in Hawaii back in July of 2007, so I'm thinking one of these personalized "A Toast to..." prints by JHill Design would be the perfect anniversary gift. Each print can be tailored to mark a special moment in time. Simply provide the geographic location, year, a brief sentence and three key words about your special memory or event. Then, select one of JHill Design's bright and cheery patterns and let Jennifer Hill (the brains and talent behind the Boston-based design company) work her magic. Brilliant!
