Lately I've been toying with the idea of taking piano lessons. When I was growing up we owned an old piano, which I'm not even sure was in tune. Still, I used to play around with it and I remember how excited I was when I figured out how to play "When the Saints Go Marching In." During junior high I learned the intro to "Come As You Are" by Nirvana - I felt so cool. As the weather gets chillier, I've decided that this will be a good place to channel my energy.

You should get the book Piano Picture Chords (Karamar Book Services Inc.). Awesome way to learn for visual people! Do you have a piano to learn on? Willow
I have played (ha ha ha) with the idea of learning piano too! I played when I was three. Yes, three. My parents envisioned I would be a child prodigy and even went to great lengths of renting a full size piano in our shoe box sized apartment. Sadly, I didn't like the teacher much and so the story goes...
There's a local place that charges $80 for four 30-minute sessions. Not bad!
Great idea! I think that's awesome!
