Piping Hot!

I opened Etsy this morning and the first thing I spotted was this awesome pipe corner shelf by DirtyBils. Love it!

Functional & Fabulous Feline Furniture

{Images from Square Cat Habitat}

Owning a cat can be a real pain - they scratch furniture, demand attention when they want it, ignore you when they don't want attention, and eliminate the need to own an alarm clock (Oliver goes insane around 5am - ugh). Still, perhaps the most difficult part about owning a cat is finding a scratching post or cat tree that does not completely offend one's personal aesthetic. Enter Square Cat Habitat, a Portland-based company devoted to creating cat furniture that "would accent existing modern decor rather than distract from it." The company offers a variety of modern cat products fashioned from renewable or recycled materials. Prices range from $30 to $550 - meaning we can all afford something. Yay!

Never Felt So Good

{Image from Moufelt}

I have a sideboard in my kitchen that this felt table runner by Moufelt would look amazing on - I'm thinking either apple green (pictured above) or orange. Decisions, decisions.

Feeling Friendly

{Image from Byrd & Belle}

I can't decide what I enjoy most about Byrd & Bell, its totally covetable products (take this iPhone/iPod case) or the lovely woman behind the company (Angie Davis pretty much rocks). While perusing Davis' goods, I stumbled upon her "about" section and it had me wishing we were friends. I mean, the girl is cute, witty and makes cool shit - who wouldn't want to be her friend?

Billie's Bag

This Lady Day clutch by Massachusetts-based Pansy Maiden was inspired by Billie Holiday's favorite hair accoutrement, the gardenia. I love the designer's choice of fabric and colors, and the ruffle detailing is lovely.

Robot Love

{Image from Mengsel}

I have a friend who is decorating her baby's room with vintage and vintage-inspired robots, and ever since she told me that I have stumbled upon a plethora of awesome robot-related items. For example, this pillow case set by the London-based designer Luzelle van der Westhuizen, who works under the moniker Mengsel. One robot is saying, "Good night, I love you..." and the other replies in kind, "love you too, sleep tight...." Super cute!

Sweet Dreams

{Images from Superfly Lullabies}

I so want a baby just so I can keep it all sunggled up in this adorable Substantially Spotted Superfly Blanket by Vancouver-based Etsy seller Julie (aka Superfly Lullabies). The blanket is 30" x 30" of hand-crafted goodness, and is totally affordable. I especially appreciate Julie's warning to buyers, which reads: "You're going to have to put up with lots of strangers complementing that baby's keen sense of style (or your own keen shopping prowess)."
