Is This Seat Taken?

{Images from Julian Chichester}

I'm looking for a new couch for my living room, and while the library sofa by Julian Chichester is surely out of my price range, I can certainly appreciate its beauty.

Heavenly Creatures

I pretty much love everything about the above photo - the wallpaper, the bed, the gilded chandelier, the art, the Resort Romper by Dear Creatures. I want it all. Photographer Yudi Ela, who shot the Spring 2010 lookbook for Dear Creatures, has an amazing eye. I highly recommend you check out her other works and her blog.

Yellow Fever

Stripes? Check. Nautical rope? Check. Perfect bag for summer? Probably.

The Gold & The Beautiful

{Image from Orange and Pear}

I love gold. I love figs. So, using a simple process of deduction, one can conclude that I would also love these golden fig vases designed by Roost...which I do.

TOMS - So Cutting Wedge

{Image from TOMS}

The new wedges from TOMS have arrived just in time for summer - yay! I'm not normally a fan of TOMS shoes (just not stylistically my thing), but the wedges are super cute and available in a slew of fabulous colors. And, just in case you didn't know, when you purchase a pair of TOMS shoes they give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. Which means you can go forth, buy a pair (or two) and feel good about your purchase. They're only $69, which is totally affordable. I'm so getting a pair of the navy striped ones - love them!

Let's Get Knotty

With any luck, my friend John and I will soon be taking a trip to the San Francisco Museum of Craft + Design (SFMC+D) to catch the FourSite: 4 Artists / 4 Materials / 4 Sites exhibit, which features installations by four California artists. One of the artists participating in the exhibit is Tanya Aguiniga, the Los Angeles-based furniture and textile designer responsible for creating the above jersey knot bracelet - which I now totally covet. The exhibit at SFMC+D runs through September 18 - giving John plenty of time to pick a date for us to go and check it out.
