Word 'Em Up

My friend sent me a link to these wonderful "Word Charm" creations by design duo Tickette, aka Tal Margalit and Ellia Nattel. The collection's tag line? "Jewelry that literally defines itself." Love it!

What's Your Type?

I know at least a dozen type-obsessed individuals who would love to get their hands on this typographic deck of cards. The cards were designed by Jim Sutherland, of the London-based design studio Hat-trick design. Sutherland created the 54-card deck (including two jokers) using 54 different typefaces with no type alterations. To see the pack in its entirety, watch this 52-second video.

All The Right Curves

Anyone who frequents my blog knows about my undying appreciation for the ampersand. It's clear from this ampersand print that the folks at a. favorite design adore the curvaceous symbol in its various typographic forms as well. Their 8"x8" letterpress and blind impression print features three ampersands and the text "your curves are sexy."

Get Your Daily Dose

ust in case you haven't heard of the Daily Drop Cap, here's the deal: typographer and illustrator Jessica Hische posts a new hand-crafted, decorative initial cap every work day. Hence the letter "J" featured at the beginning of this post. Hische even provides the HTML code so bloggers everywhere can easily copy the art into their blogs. Just make sure to review the "usuage limitations," which include attributing the work to Hische.
