I am absolutely crazy about these hand-crafted hanging bird feeders by St. Louis-based Etsy seller Joe Papendick. I especially love the berry pink color - although the feeders come in a slew of other totally covetable colors as well. The welded steel bird feeders are 12 inches in diameter, feature perching rods and also have a removable screen for easy cleaning. I love, love, love these! Nicely done, Joe.

It's A Pigeon Thing

I decided to take today off from work, instead opting to partake in some much-needed retail therapy. So, I grabbed one of my furloughed friends and my mom, and headed to 4th Street in Berkeley. That's where I discovered the work of Pigeon Toe Ceramics, a Portland-based company founded in 2009 by Lisa Jones. The above Apartment Feeder is just one of the studio's totally covetable pieces. It's a tad smaller than their Disc Birdfeeder, and is intended for those with limited patio space - hence the name. The coolest part of Pigeon Toe Ceramics is that each item is handmade to order - not mass produced - so each piece is uniquely its own. Love it!

Light As A Feather

This past weekend, I visited some friends in the East Bay (as I so often do) and we decided to do some shopping at 4th Street in Berkeley (as we so often do). That's where I spotted, and subsequently started coveting, the On-A-Wing Blouse by Byron Lars Beauty Mark. The blouse is delicate and feminine with a cowl neck, embroidered feather detailing and side button closure. It's available at Anthropologie...but at $148 it's a bit too spendy for my tastes. Still, I can appreciate its beauty.

A Bird In the Hand

A friend of mine, who knows about my obsession with birds, sent me a link to these Bird in the Bush Cups featured on house42. The stackable cups are designed by Chris Koens and produced by Invotis Orange, a Netherlands-based company that produces playful and unique creations by well-known and up-and-coming designers.

I've had a thing for Amy Ruppel's art since I first stumbled upon her online auctions a few years back - purchasing two of her wax paintings for my home. When she did the in-store art for Target, I fell further into love with her work. This signed and numbered print is part of a limited-edition run of just 40 - and I love it.

So Very Happy, dazeychic

This 8x10 print titled "So Very Happy" features a little bird that just, well, makes me very happy. Plus, this version is blue with red type - one of my favorite color combos. It's a win win for me!
