Seeing Red

My upcoming trip to Maui has me scouring the Internet for a new swimsuit - 'cause Lord knows, I couldn't just wear one of the 20 I already own! At any rate, I've found a lot of totally covetable suits...including these two pieces by Red Carter. Now, if I could only have her legs and perfect tan, I'd be all set!

Swooning for Swimwear

I know, I know. You're probably growing tired of me blogging about things from Anthropologie that I am totally coveting, but can't afford. Alas, here's another item to add to the list: the dotted darling suit. Here's hoping it goes on sale at some point...although, seeing as we're smack dab in the middle of the Dog Days of summer I don't see that happening anytime soon. Damn!

The Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2010 Swim Collection somehow found its way into my inbox this morning making me wish two things:

1) That I had an endless source of money.

2) That I was lounging on a beach in Maui.

Suiting Up

Is it too early to start shopping for swimwear? I think not! If you ask me, this is the perfect time of year to dream about lounging on the beaches of Maui, Mai Tai in hand. In my dreams, I'm sporting this bandeau suit (with an optional halter strap) by Zimmermann. It would certainly lend to some interesting tan lines! If only I could justify spending $350 on a new suit.
