Magnetic key ring by Emily Rothschild}

Industrial designer and RISD graduate Emily Rothschild pretty much rocks. Take for instance her magnetic key ring (pictured above), which is beyond awesome. You see, there's a magnet inside the sterling silver ring that allows the powder-coated steel key to stick to it. Brilliant, huh? Of course, since the ring has a magnet inside it, don't be surprised if you find yourself attracted to other magnetic objects.

Shower Power

The folks at Grain, a collaborative with a focus on sustainable design, have a created a shower curtain that comes blank and equipped with a permanent marker - so it's ready for you to work your creative genius on. If your looking for inspiration, check out these designs. In addition to letting you get your art on, the shower curtain is made from high-density polyethylene, which is one of the most commonly recyclable plastics. Plus, unlike vinyl shower curtains, this plastic one breath, meaning less mildew and mold. Oh, and you can wash it and your design will stay put - yay!

I kind of love these hair accessories by Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) graduate Laura Su, a.k.a. Prismera Design. Su graduated from RISD with a BFA in Illustration before moving back to New York and starting her own company in 2006. Check out her site for more designs and some lovely jewelry pieces, too.
